Frans Venker has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Mentice effective January 1, 2025. Frans brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the healthcare and MedTech industries. With a career spanning global markets, Frans has consistently driven innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth in roles focused on image-guided interventional therapies and advanced medical imaging solutions. Until 2024, Frans served as global Business Unit Leader for Computed Tomography and Advanced Molecular Imaging at Philips, leading a division delivering cutting-edge imaging technologies. He also held the role of Business Leader for Image-Guided Therapy at Philips North America, contributing to strategic advancements as a key member of the Philips North America Leadership Team. Frans’ international expertise includes his tenure as Global Marketing Leader for Diagnostic X-Ray in Shanghai, China, where he spearheaded strategies to foster growth across the Asia-Pacific region, as well as several leadership roles in Europe focused on operational excellence in medical imaging solutions. With extensive experience driving innovation and advancing patient care globally, Frans is uniquely positioned to lead Mentice in its next phase of growth. His proven ability to excel in dynamic, cross-cultural environments across the USA, Europe, and Asia aligns with Mentice’s mission to remain at the forefront of simulation solutions for interventional therapies, enhancing value for patients, customers, and stakeholders. Frans is married with Loes and proud father of two university aged children pursuing their education in Groningen and Delft
